Stationery Pack Ordering Terms and Conditions (in addition to our Standard Terms and Conditions)

NB! Please ensure that you understand these terms and conditions, as by placing your order, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these conditions.

SCHOOL PACKS LISTED ON WEBSITE

The school packs that are listed on the website, under a category with a school name, are done so by agreement with the school and Simply Everything Gifts & Stationery. We will supply the pack according to the list supplied by the school (including selected brands).

We are able to supply any school pack. If the school pack that you are looking for does not appear, please email or fax us a copy of the list to receive a quote. This pack will not be listed under the school's name but will be available under the Back to School category.

Packs can be customised according to requirements if excess stationery from the previous year is to be used.

PAYMENT OF SCHOOL PACK

As with all our orders, the school pack order will not be processed until payment has been confirmed as received. If payment is delayed for any reason, order processing will only take place once payment has been confirmed. Delivery dates are based on date of order processing. Please ensure that your payment reaches us timeously in order to receive your pack on the dates promised.

DELIVERY AND DELIVERY DATES

Each stationery/textbook pack is made to order. Although we strive to deliver a complete pack (its much easier for us and for you), there are circumstances where this may not be possible. In these cases, the pack will be delivered on the promised delivery date with all the items currently in stock.

We do prefer to deliver to your home or office prior to the start of the academic year, so that you can check your order and label items, if necessary.

DELIVERY OF ORDERS (PARTICIPATING SCHOOLS) - ORDERED AND PAID BY 26 NOVEMBER 2021.

Our closing date for Back to School 2022 orders in 2021 is 26th November 2021.
Orders for complete packs can be placed by selecting the pack and adding to cart. (Customisation may be required - this is information like the child's name, left- or right-handed and boy or girl). All items listed in the pack will be supplied.
If all items in the pack are not required, items can be added from within the pack. This can be done by clicking on the pack and scrolling down to 'Pack Contents'. Certain items may require 'Customisation'. Please ensure that you list your child's name, boy or girl, and left- or right-handed in the order comments so that we supply relevant items.
Items with a green block stating 'In Stock' indicates that the product is in stock.
Items with an orange block stating 'Usually ships in XXX days' are products where we are still waiting for delivery from suppliers, or the item is out of stock.
If you order a pack for one of our participating schools, and your order is placed timeously (by the 26th November 2021) delivery will be to your home within 4 weeks of your order. If there are any items that are unavailable at the time of your delivery, alternate arrangements will be made for the delivery of these items to your school, when they do become available (at no charge).
Please note that only one delivery will be completed using our courier service (there is only one delivery fee charged). Any additional deliveries requested to your home/office via courier, are subject to an additional delivery fee being charged.

DELIVERY OF ORDERS (NON-PARTICIPATING SCHOOLS) - ORDERED AND PAID BY 26TH NOVEMBER 2021.

Our closing date for Back to School 2022 orders in 2021 is 26th November 2021.
If you sent us your list and it was not for a participating school, and your order is placed timeously (by the 26th November 2021) delivery will be to your home within 4 weeks of your order. If there are any items that are unavailable at the time of your delivery, you can choose to have these items second delivery to your home or office once all the outstanding items are received (there will be an additional delivery cost). The unavailable items can also be refunded.

If you order a pack for a non-participating school, and your order is placed timeously (by the 26th November 2021) we will endeavour to deliver to your home or office address within 4 weeks of your order. If we are unable to complete your order in this time, an arrangement for a second delivery (an additional delivery fee will apply) or refund can be made.
Please note that only one delivery will be completed using our courier service (there is only one delivery fee charged). Any additional deliveries requested to your home/office via courier, are subject to an additional delivery fee being charged.

Orders received will be dispatched as soon as they are ready. Orders with textbooks take longer than stationery only orders. If you have not received your pack within 4 weeks after date of order and payment, and have not heard from us, please contact us.

This is because our suppliers enjoy a December shutdown and start their year with a backlog from all the orders that they have received while they were closed. Stock shortages are also likely because of the volume of orders placed at this time and suppliers only placing their orders in the new year.

OUT OF STOCK ITEMS

Schools may select us as their 'preferred' supplier or may select us as one of multiple suppliers. Even as a 'preferred' supplier, we have no guarantee that every family will purchase their school requirements from us - everyone still has a choice (a school is not allowed to force you to purchase from a certain supplier). Therefore it is exceptionally difficult for us to forecast exactly how many orders we will receive for each grade. With this in mind, it is even more challenging to foresee how many of each item we will require, especially when the stationery lists differ significantly from Grade to Grade. We supply nationwide and do not reserve stock or limit customers from purchasing certain items. Our stock is sold on a first come (paid), first served basis.

We do run out of stock – HOWEVER, this does not mean you will not receive your out-of-stock items before the start of the academic year. We work with many suppliers to ensure that we do not remain out of stock of most items for very long. (Unfortunately this does not apply to books, as books are copyrighted to a specific publisher and therefore can only be purchased from that publisher).

Exclusive items from suppliers (brands that are only stocked by one supplier, as they have exclusive distribution in South Africa) may remain out of stock for a little longer as we have to wait for these suppliers to replenish their stocks of these items. If any extended shortage of the specific product is expected, the product may be substituted with an equally priced item from another brand, if this is possible.

Despite being out of stock of certain items at certain times, we aim to serve parents to the best of our ability and act as a one-stop shop. Please do not feel that you will have to do any running around if we are out of stock. We will deliver all items contained in the school pack, as soon as is humanly possible. You will be notified of any shortages in the pack when the delivery is made, and a second delivery can be arranged.

We do recommend that you order your school requirements by the 26th November 2021. For orders after this date, please expect delays and/or shortages. No fear, we will get these items to school as soon as possible. Remember that learners do not use ALL their stationery on the first day of school.

If there are any unforeseen delays with any of the stationery or textbook items for participating schools, we will contact the school to arrange an acceptable replacement for the item, if available in another brand and will supply accordingly.

We understand the desire to have everything ready for the new academic year. Please be assured that we continuously endeavour to deliver a complete pack, first time (multiple deliveries cost us extra time and money). If we do short-deliver, please give us the opportunity to complete the order. We recommend ordering before our closing date to receive your order before school begins.

SPLIT DELIVERY

If both in stock items and out of stock items are included on the same order, it is possible to split the order in two in order to receive the in stock items immediately. A second order is created detailing the out of stock items which will be delivered when these items are received into stock. An additional delivery fee applies to split orders.
